Hey FB search

There are a total of 8 screws and 1 retaining clip that hold the assembly together.

It is not too difficult to totally disassemble. Just be very careful with the drag cap return spring.

Start at the front - take off the font dial first by unbending the holding tabs on the side ...

I remember I have a FB.....

After that last well earned stubby or ten, another 5 months have passed and I forgot about the FB.... again :shock:

I see the membership has grown by 86 and we now have moderators..good to see the site going ahead.

You might have scored mine - I removed it to replace it with a motorised version.

If I remember correctly the vacuum source is teed into the vacuum line which goes from below the fuel pump to the wiper motor.

This line is connected to one of the pipes on the washer / wiper switch. The ...

Hey jolem

I agree with the other guys in that the exchange motor is not always the best deal.

We rebuilt our grey with repcos help - block only as we scored a new head with the car.

We dropped the motor off and waited a day or two for them to do the crack test once it had passed that it took ...

Motor Reinstaulation

Time for another update.

The painting has come to a stop due to cold weather. The body is finished on the inside and the outside has two coats. (Except for the trim).

So this weekend we refitted the motor.

A new clutch assembly was fitted to the motor and then the gearbox was attached.
