My FB wagon has been my daily driver for years up until a few months ago. Now I am riding a motorbike to work most days of the week. But she is still out and about 1 or two days of the week. I see a few EKs around Hobart but very seldom have I ever seen another FB.

During the process I found that the two manuals I have differ in the axle seals they describe and I wanted to clarify the difference.
One describes a bearing with ...

Another thing to check is the extension housing bush.
The vibration in my tailshaft got so bad that it ended up knocking the bush out of the extension housing. Then it got real bad :(
Once I got past 55mph it would centre itself through centrifugal force and go quiet, but as soon as I slowed down ...

You are both right I guess, it's just that I had left this job to last and my 'car money' has run out.
Where is the best place to go for aftermarket seatbelts then?
Is Klippan the brand I should look out for or are there other brands that will fit with the reel clearing the side of the bench seat ...

While looking though manual, I saw that the maximum turning angle is 36.5 degrees. Possibly this is what you were thinking about Rosco when you said 36.5 feet turning circle.

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what the earliest holden retractable seat belts are that will fit in the FB front and that will clear the side of the front seat. I am under instructions to replace the current ones which are a bit hows-ya-father to make it safer for the family.
