Hi Karsten,

Have PM'd you.
My Dad is just around the corner from you and will give you a call.
Let me know if he doesn't and I will bring mine up weekend after this (24th).

Is it possible to buy this tool from anywhere, or does it need to be made. I saw the post that says that they come up on ebay, but I will need it fairly soon, don't want to have to wait for one to appear.

Thanks

They were on ebay and if ebay hadn't stuffed around with the listing categories I'd probably be able to point you in the right direction.

However, try in the search bar some keywords like harmonic balancer puller, grey motor holden or something like that and you might be able to locate one.

Or also try looking in completed listings and a finished auction listing for one might come up.Send the seller a message to see if they have anymore.

I'm pretty sure there is a seller that is selling new pullers on there as opposed to the second hand ones that are sometimes listed.

Terry.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

I missed the ebay one......bugger

although at least now I know wht they go for.

Is a three arm gear puller going to stuff the balancer if I use it?

Thanks

Hi Greg,
I would leave the three leg puller well away from your balancer - if it's like the red (and I can't remember what is comprised in the grey) there is a rubber insulator between the two metal pieces - if you use a puller which "draws" on the outer circumference, you will most likely damage the balancer............
I may be wrong - there was a post detailing how to "make" one from a hollow and also a long pointed bolt. It's there somewhere - you'll have to chase it up.
