COOLERIDE VISOR

Post by EK DAZ »

Could someone with a ruler, please pop out to the car and measure from the top of the windscreen (top of roof) to the first row of holes on the sunscreen bracket. Thanks, Regards to all. Daz.

Um, I'm sure you're not standing there with a ruler in one hand and a drill in the other  but maybe the critical measurement would be the corner brackets? I'd think you'd have to attach all the brackets to the visor, rest it on the car (supported by a mate), make sure the corner brackets lined up evenly on the A pillars, and then that would determine the position of the top brackets on the roof?

I'm a few thousand miles away from my car just now, and sorry I can't give you the info you asked for, but I gotta ask, why do you need that measurement :?

Hi Allan, Its just that my visor has a twist in it and the top brackets dont touch the roof together.Even if the side brackets are in the correct position, I would like a dimension to the first holes to make sure these will end up in the right place.Cheers Daz.

Ok Daz , went and took a couple of snaps for ya.

The sides should sit at the same height as the door frame -

The centre bracket sits about 23mm back from the edge of the turret , I stuck the end of the tape measure between the surround and the roof.

Here is the other end of the tape -

Hope that helps mate.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
