(this is a collection of people previous suggestion)
• The floor pans and sills are major jobs if rusted, so spend a bit of time having a good look underneath.
• Take a magnet to check along the bottom of doors, rear wings, front guards for large amounts of body filler( ie the magnet will not stick to filler).
• head light peaks
• top rear corners and bottoms of front guards (very common)
• end of the sills under the bottom of front guards (very common)
• outer sills (very common)
• plenum chamber under dash
• inner sills
• underbody bracing
• around front of sub frame (very common)
• rear legs of subframe
• corners of front windscreen in where doors shut
• bottom of rear 1/4's
• around rear screen
• section inside tail gate

are they the utes from bendigo pretty sure jacko's been to see them
also cosider when looking at the floors they usually look better from underneath than they actually are try to see them from the top, if you can only see them from underneath give them a good thump with yor fist checking for weakness or if the owner has no obgection poke around with a screwdriver
if yor flying to melbourne a screwdriver could be an issue
