Hope you get the bug in the "black EFI" sorted...... I thought I read that you were throwing the Black EFI out and going back to red in the short term??ekdave1962 wrote:yeah gary running a vk black 6 injected ..

i still have to remove it again to modify extractor as the touch the steer arm .. also need to finis firewall mods, make it a little deeper to give 10 mm clearance need by engine, still to add air box or filter, just please to have it running atm
i just slung the loom and ecu out the side of car until it was sorted

here the finish beast she goes well still a lot of clean up work to be done, not to mention air box etc ..

i added the little gem i got from ebay .. as i wanted a little more info on what the motor was doing .. sadly the main thing i wasnt temp is not working on it .. dooh dam ebay crap .. looks good tho ..

hmm tacho says im doing close to 4000 rpm at 100 km sound a little high for a trimatic and 3.66 diff ?

i'd say 3000-3500rpm at the most ....
if you have a 205/60/13 tyre with your diff and trimatic at 100kms should be about 3100rpm
i actually had similar problems with my tacho on a 202 with HEI dizzy.... and this is what i used to fix it...

the hardwired version is what i used, what you'd have is the GND and CH1+ wires....
input from negative coil would go to 33k resistor, GND to the same spot you ground the tacho, and CH1+ would be where you'd connect your tacho pulse wire to.

nah pretty much just allows you to dial in the resistance .... i found when i had the tunable version it would basically cut out at one point then 1mm from that point it would be right, but if i went any further it would have the over counting issue ....
plus i also kept bumping the pot so i had to keep setting it so i just changed to the fixed version.
