now i'm doubting the six month thing if he can't tell an FB front from a HR front, one has king pins one has ball joints FB dips down more in the centre and is more rounded, and if it's not disc brake it's not worth $400.
malcom i know what yor talking about putting parts in a safe place, you know how to find them? go buy another one and guaranteed you will trip over the one you put in a safe place, works every time

it all depends on condition if it was fully recoed and ready to go in an FB/EK you probably would pay $400, if not $50-$150.
i payed $150 for a sad looking disc brake front but only needed a clean up 2 ball joints 2 tie rod ends and disc rotors

go the ek buddy unbiast opinion although i have to admit with the two tone the fb has more class the ek has better mechanicals. eg. wiper motor being a motor instaed of vacuem i believe on Fb's which would be one reason why could only go so big in fb.  lot less work for yourself in long run. :D
