Hi guys, am trying to post an avatar using the directions I have found on here, but keep getting the message "The URL of the remote avatar is not valid" I have resized the image, etc and noe its giving me the F#@*&%G SH*#TS!! Can some IT guru pls help....? Should I be using the IMG code on photobucket, as when posting a pic on here??

I had the same problem and the same words came out of my mouth :!:

I think it turned out that you use one of the other links, not the IMAGE Code, but I can't remember which one :oops:

But it looks like it worked to me..........
My 6yr old daughter said
"Dad your car's looking great! Which end is the front?"

hey SCK,

looks ok, but if you wanted to be picky... the reason it looks not so perfect is that it need to be resized first... I THINK....

you need to use the "direct link" for your avatar, not the "IMG code" - this is the one you use for posting up pics :wink:
only just recently updated mine 8)

I've done some updates with the suggestions from Ray and EKSPCL. I hope its now clearer...we don't want avatar anger... :P :wink:

Anyone with suggestions on how to make the instructions clearer let me know...
