I admire your dedication here champ, I was looking at the same vehicle as well, had I received it in the same condition you have found I would of been upset and disillusioned about the whole thing.

Good to see you wanting to complete it though, I personally think its a great looking car and more than worthy of having the "rat" tag applied to it.

ratbox wrote: not anything to do with being noticed but when it comes to rat or flat painted cars you only seem to have negative comments (unless ofcoarse the car belongs to a female) and as i've slowly learned most don't want to hear negative comments, remember what i kept getting told if you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all
I think you should stop telling me what I like and don't like  !

For the record I like the "rat" look, I just hate people that think if there car is a rusted out P.O.S its a "rat".

While I'm at it, I really do like the style you do your cars ratbox, and the speed in which you do them  , I'm just not the type that goes oohhh aahhh thats the best car I've ever seen your the best  , Trev 8) .

I was disillusioned for awhile there. But I'm a pretty positive guy, and when I saw the car (despite the mess it was in) I still loved it, so I started imagining how amazing it could be. At the end of the day I'm into the look and it runs like a top so its all good. Just can't wait to get it on the road now!!

Yep, still going strong too. It’s in good hands with Darryl.
