its a sad day today. the fb runs out of rego today. been a good car for the last two years.
about 6 months ago one morning i was shocked to see a large area on the roof peelin paint. it happend overnight. i sanded the whole roof. painted it again only to peel off a few days later. i have now painted the roof 5 more times but still peels off. only in the one same spot.
so im over painting it. i dont know what to do with it but to retire it. it still runs great.but its cruzn days are over :(

That's a shame :( I'm guessing you did a bare metal respray during those 5 attempts ? All the best

That's a shame.
If you are bare metaling the roof, prepsoling it, etch priming it, priming it then painting it there is no reason what so ever for it to peel.
Somewhere along the line something is missing I'd say.
Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer

yea john and pete. done all that. even scuffed up the metal with 60 grit. nothin sticks. its tho one area. same spot every time. yet i rub it all back and prep the whole roof the same.
ill take a pic. im open to sugestons. iv got another body im contemplating swapping everything over.
