Nice one, as for the stance... The lower the better with a slight rake  not so sure on the pavement sniffer stance
Should look good all back in one piece though.

Cheers guys

Yeah devil like i said ideally i'd have it on bags so i can drop it waaaay down or give it the drag lean whenever i want, but that'll be a way off!
Ive seen your's at Kustom nats last two years, asked around the car to see if anyone knew where you were but no one seemed to know.
I'm leaning towards a custom grill for this one so any suggestions lads?

Seriously De Soto grills ate getting hard to find.

...or if you don't like that idea, how about having a go at making one like on the FB prototype?

Sure do...

Might not be your style, but beats stuffing the front end full of bumper over-riders (which looks pretty cool, but has been done a few times now).

Cool thanks for that!
Yeah staying away from a big ol' row of over-riders for that exact reason. I have seen a few bumping around with a couple of simple horizontal bars and that looks pretty fresh, i'm thinking that concept will be the starting point.

I like the Effigy concept car grill for exactly that reason.

With something that simple, you'd need to put some black mesh behind it or else you'd just look straight through it to the radiator etc.

I'd tend to agree that a simple bar or two would look good, but I'd want to put something in the middle to draw the eye. I'd cheat and cut-down a hubcap off an EH or something and work that into the center of the grill, then change the paint colour around the logo on the hubcap/grill center to match the car.

Or do something with the good 'ol FJ hubcap

Food for thought, if nothing else

Im going to draw up some ideas and throw them on here over the next few days, see what you all reckon.
Speaking of caps, i need to get some stock EK (or similar) wheels and hubcaps, anyone selling?

Go 14's if you can then you can run all sorts of different caps plus thin whitewalls are only $120ish and able to be gotten anywhere. As for the grille the overrider/desoto has been done to death. Tube grilles are easy, curtain rod and some nuts and bolts. Sky's the limit really.
