"tour guide"

That's right up there with airport hostess. I hear Quantas are always searching for extra welders to fix their planes, but don't like spending the extra cash on extra staff. You could get a job as a hostess/maintenance worker. So long as you don’t mind working out doors at heights and in speed welding wings back on planes?

So I decided to use some of the skills learned in Franklins back in tha day ,We used to slice open boxes like this

But in all honesty it started out needing more tyre under the guards ,It works out the guards are a factory 17mm narrower to the rear.
The rail at the top of the tray is 30mm narrower to the rear , hmmm if I push the quarter out it will square it up ,give me more tyre room ,and fatten up the rear profile . done :D

The car went backwards to go forwards today hardiddyharhar ,I just wish they were built right in the first place !

Ive finished widening the driver side of the body , stripped the tubs from it and the floor in the tray
Im planning to pump the quarters a touch and run the new inner guards out to the quarters and tack/glue them there rather than having the inner wall .
apart from the offset I was worried about the stock rims before now it should easily go 9s maybe 10s.
Ill have a look at swapping the chassis rails side to side later and see if it will gain some more but still be um factory.
The rails bow outwards stock  and Id reckon bowing inwards would be much better
