EK -Dash lights no workie, but indicator 'indicators' do....

Post by Mai Ki-Ki »

For a while now my dash lights have failed to work in my EK, however the high beam light works and the indicators flashers do to....as it seems they are earthed the same as the dash lights then it must be a faulty light switch at the knob...?

Any help appreciated....

indicators are earthed separate to the dash lights, grab a test lamp and start probing

Yeah, The dimmer coil might have corrosion and stops powering up. Just turn it a few times to get the right spot, or pull the switch out and give it a rub with some wet n dry? Worth a try?

Yep Maiki they do have a dimmer, give the headlight switch a twirl. Mine has a spot where they dont work.

As others have said give it a clean up as it could just be that.
