engine number history
How do i find the history of a motor in NSW using the engine number? I know it is out of a FC as it is L52**** but when i went to the RTA they said there was no history of the motor existing and i should try REVS.
Did i encounter an alien at the RTA or is there another way to check an engine number?

Re: EK hydramatic to VR V6
Not a lot of work done on the EK....
But she has had a cleanup, some of the pretty chrome bits have been removed and I have found some nice wheels and tyres...

Re: Engine lost spark...Helps!
I had a similar problem many many moons ago with my grey motor running very rough like it was down a few cylinders. Turned out to be a small piece of the brush in the dissy cap that connects the coil to the rotor had broken off and was bouncing around causing havoc. I removed the offending piece ...

Re: HR disc/drum wishbones?
Thanks for the info
I have four pairs of lowers and three pairs of upper wishbones so I'll carefully check to see which ones match up. I know that two sets of upper and lowers are from disc front ends one with discs bolted to the hub and the other with countersunk screws. One upper and lower set ...

Re: EK hydramatic to VR V6
Well... My application for a loan has been knocked back by the Credit Union that I have been a member of for over 25 years. Their issue is a complaint from a large Communications company that is a crock of $h!+ and I will be moving my account to another organization very soon and contacting the ...

Re: EK hydramatic to VR V6
Started to give the EK a clean up and polish. looks better than it really is with rust under the lower rear window trim and RH wheel arch as well as both plenum chambers. Hopefully she will be off to the repairers soon to have the rusty bits repaired...

I've been paying close attention to your build and it has inspired me to do as much as I can to get my build moving forward. :D
Your're like a pathfinder, sorting and documenting the small and not so small, problems like the air con needing a bracket and that cool steering column :ebiggrin ...
