My initial thought was exactly that, link the two carby's together and minimise the amount of linkages, but I would rather have access to the jets.
Looking at your pics Blacky, the EJ has an entirely different pedal box setup. I currently have mine in about 20 pieces ready for painting this ...

WANTED: Twin carb linkage images, set-ups, ideas...
Morning all,
Finally I have gotten back to the front end of the car and have finished re-building the two carbs going on my grey. Now comes the fun part of linking them together. I know American Auto Parts along with others have a linkage kit to suit but do they fit the dozens of varying intake ...

Grey Twin Carb Set-up
Evening all,
I am searching for any info you guys may have in regards to carburettor choice, jet sizes and linkage set-ups to suit a twin carb manifold on the 138 Grey.
I have a collection of carbs to choose from:
4 x BXUV-2
2 x BXV-2
1 x BXOV-1
We were thinking the BXUV-2 we would be the ...

Re: 138 Exhaust system...
You just answered my question! I was going to ask what muffler set up you were running!
I am considering splitting the system at the extractors and running twin pipes the full length.
On the other hand a nice stainless exhaust will finish off the underside but cost would rule out the above set up!

138 Exhaust system...
Evening all,
I thought what better way to hit the nail on the head first go, then ask what style of exhaust system everyone is running on there 138?
I will be running twin Strombergs and extractors that collect into a 2" pipe, from there I am open to opinions. I love the look of twin exhausts but ...

Re: 138 Alternator
Thanks for the info Scotty.
There are a couple of alternators lying around the shed, just have to make sure the cooling fins are pointing in the right direction!
Cheers,
Matt

Re: Brake/Clutch master cylinders the same?
Thanks very much Terry. The old man spoke to old motor mechanic mate of his and gave the same answer.
For those interested I have attached a section view of both the brake and clutch master cylinders with the only internal difference being in the brake master cylinder which has the check valve and ...

Im part way through restoring/modifying an EJ, yes I know its not a FB-EK but I'm keeping the 138 Grey in it and frankly this is the first descent webpage/forum I have come across.
I want to ditch the generator of the grey and fit an alternator in its place. Does anyone have experience in ...
