Anyone in SE Melb / SW Gippsland?

... and would like to be involved in a wedding??

My fiancee Nicole and I are getting married at Churchill Island next to Phillip Ilsand on Friday afternoon 20 January.

We have a red body / white roof EK that will be part of the proceedings (should the resto work happen in time!). Roger from ...

Hi Brett!

So considering I now know how many leaks I have, what do you think I should do to

a) be able to identify exactly where the water comes in

and

b) fix the problem?

I may have to buy Rare's rubber kits but I might also have to replace the rubber blades around the quarter glass and get ...

I ended up buying the carpet -- got moulded US red... still haven't done the rest of the interior though

After the heavy rain we had recently I found out that I have many seal issues to deal with first.

looking for seat colour options

I'm looking for some examples of seat colours that would go with my red-body-white roof EK Special.. I'm pretty sure the standard combination with that colour was red seats with silver inserts so that's definitely an option but I would like to see what it looks like to be sure.

I was thinking cream ...

I just picked her up from the mechanic this morning. He's a trustworthy guy but is not a Holden enthusiast or specialist and I don't speak his language (I work in IT, he's a mechanic) so the message probably isn't being translated with complete accuracy.

He's Dennis at Tanner Autos in Collingwood ...

Hi Brett!

I've already had the transmission upgraded to trimatic so I'm not super-particular about keeping her stock...

typically, I have found out that there's more to it than this. I've been told that I need to get a full assessment to determine exactly what's required - it may not need a full rebuild - maybe some of the parts can be retained.

and, even then, there are more things to consider - a ball-joint front ...

front-end rebuild required

hi all

I've been told my old girl needs a front-end rebuild and that I should see if I can get a kit from Rares then expect about $500 labour on top of the kit cost.

Is this reasonable? Do I have other/better options? (I don't have the time or ability to do the work myself).

I've been told this ...

Horn buttons - EH same as EK?

hey all

I've found a steering wheel centre horn button that I wouldn't mind buying cause the colours suit my EK but it's described on ebay as an EH button. Are they the same?

Cheers
