looking for seat colour options

Post by paulb »

I'm looking for some examples of seat colours that would go with my red-body-white roof EK Special.. I'm pretty sure the standard combination with that colour was red seats with silver inserts so that's definitely an option but I would like to see what it looks like to be sure.

I was thinking cream seats with red inserts and possibly black pipes might look cool ...

so, anyone have pics or know where I can find pics of red EKs to check their interior colours?

Im a big fan of the neutral type colours one of the main reasons is they match most paint colours.I will add they can be hard to keep clean.I went with this option bit of a sketchy pic i was putting a new ignition in.

Paul, I did mine in the same colour as the body.

Red with a white roof screams for red and white tuck'n'roll with white carpet for the show pony or red carpet for the daily. How about this interior in an early Pontiac.

This is a nice combo

Let's you keep a black carpet which is a bonus if it is a regularly driven car.
White is a bitch to keep clean and large areas of white can look dirty even if they are clean.

If you have the carpet custom fitted you can get a border sewn in a different colour.

I ended up buying the carpet -- got moulded US red... still haven't done the rest of the interior though

After the heavy rain we had recently I found out that I have many seal issues to deal with first.

Hi Brett!

So considering I now know how many leaks I have, what do you think I should do to

a) be able to identify exactly where the water comes in

and

b) fix the problem?

I may have to buy Rare's rubber kits but I might also have to replace the rubber blades around the quarter glass and get the seals around the windscreens checked/fixed....

Cheers

Paul
