EK auto Sedan, Ningi

Post by Finny »

Did a trip to Bribie Island today and saw an EK sedan for sale on the way through Ningi.

Price was $6,000. interior looks original and in good condition.
Looks good from a distance and in the photos too.
Body had been repainted and rust bubbles where coming out in several places. Doors, guards. body, boot, under windows, etc, etc.
Shame...................... :( :( :( :(

Looks a lot like a Sydney car that was for sale a little while back.

it is it cal it's the one that's forsale on here with the teardrop camper which has been sold that's the best part of that deal gone, a car with fresh enough paint to tell it's been painted and serious rust coming back through is a scarey car

I missed out on the camper,
Shame coz I reckon it would've looked sweet behind my car.

The car has a 186 that used to run really well
Was restored, repainted and engineered in the mid 90's
And as far as I am aware it hasn't been repainted since then

It did spend a lot of it's life living by the sea though

Was a great reliable car

Think the rust may be an issue now though, although the seller says it's only structural, so that may have been fixed by this guy or the guy that I sold it to

that's not to bad then just that some people picked that it had been painted so just thought it must have been obvious so recent but living by the see will do it

Amazing how these cars move around so much.

Obviously the latest owner doesn't think it's worth while keeping.
