RACV Motor Rally, Mornington - PICS

Post by Dakam »

Went on the RACV Motor Rally today in the FB, along with Tony (tm50) in his beautiful blue FB. The rally started off at Hastings Marina where we both got lots of looks when we pulled in. The cars were vast in model and type, a real eye opener. From Hastings we drove over to Dromana, then up through Mt. Martha to the Mornington racecourse. The roads were a little bit hilly and twisty, but both FBs got through unscathed. The racecourse was full of unbelievable machines and I highly recommend anyone into any type of car to come and have a look. We got lots of questions and intrest in the two, as there wasnt much in the way of older Holdens, our two FBs and one EK. All in all, a good day. Heres the pics...enjoy,

I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

With just ONE of those D-types, I would sell it, buy a mansion and build half a dozen gen 3 Healeys with a shed big enough to fit them in...   :)
