Doesn't anyone sell EK's or FB's in SA

Post by Katchel7 »

:? Hi All

I have been looking through all the cars wanted/for sale and have found hardly any sellers in SA, is it because the EK's and FB's are more abundant in other states?

please tell

I understand your extreme enthusiasm and need to have an FB/EK RIGHT NOW

But like others have found before you, you will have to just search and wait for the car you want and one that suits your budget to come up for sale.

You might have to be perpared to travel interstate to find one and I personally know a lot of people both on the forum here and withing FB/EK circles that have had to travel interstate to find the car they want.

I know it's frustrating, but unfortunately you will just have to search ALL car selling media both online, newspapers, magazines etc.

Go to the local newsagent and buy a copy of "Just Cars" and/or "Unique Cars" , search on ebay but be carefull especially on ebay ( but not just limted to ebay ) as a lot of sellers misrepresent the cars for sale and only mention the positive side to a cars condition and neglecting to show/describe a cars faults.

There are a few disappointed forum members that have bought cars as per photos only to find the car is a bogmonster    .

Before you hand over any money, have the car looked at by someone who has expertise in the field of car condition inspecting.

It will save you some disappointing headaches down the track.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Kat,

Maybe you need to broaden your search area. If you check through many posts, a lot of people buy their cars interstate. I bought my car from SA from SCK who bought it from NSW.

Just a suggestion.
