Re: Prototype History
Not trying to offend but a rare car like that, I would be choosing very carefully where and when I drive it as one big prang and the car and its history are gone.JP-481 wrote:Hi, yes i do! You wouldnt beleive what else i have! Lol.Its funny how when cars or items for that matter are rarely seen ,people can asume they no longer exist! Im sure there are many other great finds out there that we dont know about!
Im planning on displaying the car at the All Holden Day, cant wait to get the car out! Unfortunately it will have to be trailered to the show as Shanons wont allow me drive it!
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
Under the bonnet.
Hi, i will take some photos shortly.
You can see the welds on the car if you look close but not sure if the photos will show them up. The car will be at the FB-EK All Holden day at the end of this month.
The car was sold by GM in 1951, it was ammended from Chevrolet to Holden sedan and given a new engine and number. It still has this original engine and number.
The history of the vehicle is very complete and quite interesting.
Will post some more photos tonight.

Its JP-481
Don Loffler knows about it, that i can tell you!
It has all its registration documents and more!
Personally i dont care if people are skeptical of anything, it makes no difference to me. You always get that type of element.
The guy who owned it was 91 years old and he passed away.
We purchased it from his familly.
He was an ex GMH employee and the car was stored in his shed for years and never driven. Its got no rust anywhere and drives like brand new!
The photos make it look better than it is, its rough to look at but structually and mechanically sound, very tight to drive, no rattles etc..
