speedo works , but the odometer doesnt roll over

put a new speedo cable in the ek on the weekend it works o k but the odometer doesnt roll over how do i free up the odometer ?
Plus its got 15'' inch chaser wheels on it with hydromatic box will this effect the speedo readout?
I will give it a check with my gps as that has been my speedo readout for 8 months

You must have a "Steve Jackson special cable" it helps keep the miles down while driving

I would think it would be in the speedo itself, the size of tyres n wheels will effect the readout, Trev
