EK4Sue ...finally got a pic of Sue and her EK!

Post by V8EK4us »

Well the day had to come when I got pressured to start Sue's EK  .

We started the strip today and have it in the shed. Floors and main body looks good. Manual tunnel - have to change that.......
Doors, boot, bonnet all rooted completely  , the bloke that did the "last resto" on this car "acid dipped the doors, bonnet and boot...... never flushed them or neutralised the acid and now they are virtualy usless..... replacement parts coming via Spyders old blue sedan which I will pickup next week (bought the whole car).

Specs for Sue's car
Grey
3 speed manual
nice and low
HR discbrake frontend (out of Spyders old sedan)
Torana discs and calipers
Pedders suspension
Alloy fuel tank
Reupholstered bench seats front and rear.
New door trims with speaker mounts etc (similar to mine)
Retractable seat belts
Sports steering wheel
5.5" wide rims on the front, 7" wide on the back, steelies with bullet centre caps, bullet nuts, chrome trims, maybe white walls.
White paint.
Sound system
Short console

Only because it's there RB .... I 'spose if I get 2 torrie frontends then it would be quicker and easier to do one for Sue's and the one for the ute at the same time hey.................

Thanks Mark, I wish I could slack off a bit on it so it was half as good (to make it quicker and easier)..... but if I did then I would be known as "the poor guy walking around at the Nationals with his Missus kicking his arse every 5 minutes"

How are you gonna get 3 cars to next years Nationals Garry!! :D :D
Is Sue's EK going to be Maroon/Burgandy all over or is it going to get a white (pearl?) roof? As everyone else says, if Sue's EK is as good as yours it'll be another 'top end top job'! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
