I think the ones available from castlemaine rod shop are a copy of the EK auto trans tunnel if that helps... unless of course you do actually want a genuine hump.

This is well worth the money. I know of 3 people who have now used this tunnel. It fits perfectly and allows you to run standard auto carpet!!!! Plus saves alot of time spent stuffing around to make one then have custom made carpet to cover it.....

I made my own as-well, cost SFA ($10 tops) , as Blacky said just get a flat bit of sheet steel and bend it over something round, it is not a complex shape with bumps and swage lines in it! Trev 8) .

It will make you feel better to know that you did it yourself AND saved money. That's how the old hot rodders did it, not being a tight arse in my eyes.

Not always a case of being a tight arse. Time can also be said to equal to money...

Be careful making your own tunnel that its dimensions are the same as an auto hump, otherwise your cost cutting will bite you when it comes to the carpet costs....

I can give you the approx dimensions of the EK Auto hump if you want to make your own.

The original hump has an annoying brace about 2 inches high that runs over the top about 1/3rd ( 1/4 ?? ) way back from the rear and is rivetted to the floor/hump/under floor brace.

I don't think there is a real need for this brace personally but if you feel there should be one there you could make one that does the same and is a lot less intrusive.

it's the cross member that's normally under the floor in most cars
i've cut plenty out and also seen LOTS of cars that don't have it
