colapsible column which one?

hi guys im running a 202 with hr front end and rear mount commodore rack and pinion. just wondering which is a good colapsible column to use and what knuckles do i use to connect column to rack. saw a few at holden day but couldnt make out what they were off. cheers wayne

well i reckon for starteres anything hq or after is no good as they have the key in the column, and i no my bro used hg in his fj :?:

im about to use a uc steering column cut down and welded to the original column and using al the knuckles off a uc as well thats how the mechanic doing mine does them and then he makes his own rod .ohh but mine is front mount dont know if it matters.

I used the top half of an EK column and the bottom half of a VB/K Commodonor column on my rear mounted rack. Pretty easy to graft them together , needed to machine a circlip groove in it - that was the only bit I couldnt do in the shed.
