Photos need to have been taken in at least 1957. I believe that was when the FE wagon (Station Sedan) was launched.

I only just noticed the the FC is replaced with something else in the third photo. :?

It does look a little like a Mercedes, but I pretty sure it's something else.
The finnie's  :D (what a great name) started in 1961 and it's not one of them. The Roundie's started in about 1954 and still had a full guard, no arch on the guard. The earlier models had an arch but it was a slow arch going back to the rear door. The arch on the guard in the photo cuts down to quickly, doesn't have the big gap between the headlight and the grill and has a split windscreen.

I was thinking an english model of some type.

I spoke with our w'shop boyz this morning and no records are held on vehicles for longer than 5 yrs. I was hoping to track to car/cars by there number plates. W'shop boys believe that the cars were owned by the "community" rather than by the ASNSW.. just took a look at the building date of the Station.. 09.03.1953

The one on the left of the 3rd pic is a single or twin spinner &*#@.
Second pic is newer as trees are taller. Cool pics.
