Topless in Queensland

Post by Smooth customs »

A mate sent me these shots that he took outside a panel shop about 20 minutes from my shop.
No details are known at the moment.

Does anyone in Brisbane know of this car and its conversion?

Not that I'm am expert or anything, but the thing looks a bit wrong.

Windcreen sticks out like dogs balls, and the front door looks too short for the body. Overall lines arent too bad though 8)

Micks was a wagon, this is a sedan.

The screen looks taller than it is because of the amount of metal that has been left from the front of the roof. Above the mouldings.
Longer doors always help to balance up a conversion like this.

But no one knows the reason for its build, or the amount of money the owner was willing to spend for the end result.

Boths of these factors govern what the finished cars will look like.
