hey i'm about to get my cylinder head and rocker cover put back on my 161 red motor and was wondering if anyone had the bolt torque settings??

Cylinder head bolts 75ft/lb.

Rocker cover bolts 7ft/lb.

Later manual says cylinder head bolts 1st stage 30 ft/lb, 2nd stage 75ft/lb, and this is the best way to tighten them up via the 2 stage process.

Make sure you start tightening them from the centre two bolts first and move outward from there evenly.

thanks for that FB Mad, i read that on the other topic of this but i thought 186 or 202 and 161 might have different specs.

Nah, they are pretty much all the same, 'cept the rocker adjustment/tightening procedures between adjustable rockers and the later non adjustable ones are different.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
