V6 RADIATOR
Before i can spray the engine bay of my FC i need to adjust the front opening to suit a common size radiator, comm V6 has the wrong inlet/outlet placements and a f#$d rad is too wide. A VL 6 cyl rad is about the right size dims wise and outlet at bottom right suits my Buick but would a rad for a 3ltr cool my 3.8 ? I will beusing a 14"DC thermo in place of a fixed fan and could get an alloy rad to suit a turbo VL for a reasonable price.
colling is all in the air flow
think about why a jumbo is able to take off
you need a good shroud
heres a link to an article that will help you fitting the vl turbo radiator with thermo fans

obviously check your clearances...

There are some excellent threads on the FE/FC Forum, particularly the one by Ed and the cooling problems with his V8 wagon. Ed's very scientific and documents everything well, well worth the time to search for it.
There is also a bloke from QLD that has built an FE Van with a V6 (FEVANV6 ?) it wouldn't hurt to send him a PM with a question or two.
