Specifications For Lowered Stub Axles.

Post by FB MAD »

Santa Claus stopped by my place today on his way to the North Pole after visiting the Castlemaine Rod Shop.

While he was having a p#ss I ratted through his sleigh and found my CRS Lowered Stub Axles that he promised me I'd be getting for Crissy.

Measured then up against a HR stub axle and a HK/HT/HG stub axle that I have here.

........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Differences are as follows if anyone is interested:-

CRS ( model SA02 -HD to HG Holden ) lowered stub axle is 79mm or 3 1/8 th inch lower than a HR stub axle.

CRS ( SA02 ) is 62mm or 2 7/16 th inch lower than HK/HT/HG stub axle.

HK/T/G stub axles are 17 mm or 11/16 th inch lower than HR stub axles.

........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

So ( in theory ) when fitting a CRS lowered stub axle to HR front ended car, the car should lower approx 79mm or 3 1/8th inch.

In theory, a HK/HT/HG stub axle on a HR front ended car will lower the car approx 17mm or 11/16th inch.

Santy nearly caught me putting me present back in the sleigh but I managed to convince him I was merely looking at the sleighs great paintjob    Phew !!

Hope he hasn't got any forensic trained Elves, there's a few grubby fingerprints on me present    .
I can't think what to write here so this will do.
