Stubtech drop stub axles

Post by SC00BB »

Hey does anyone know if the HQ drop stub axles from Stubtech fit the HR front end? Is there any modifications needed to get them to fit?
I'm considering running these on my FB.

Thanks

i'de say they are all the same BUT if it is a 2 1/2" drop on a HQ it will be close to 3 1/2" drop on HR front, this is based on hadfield stubs as his ones are based off HQ stubs, he didn't even know there was a difference between HQ and HR

Just happened to ring Santa Clause today on his mobile phone to ask him could I have a new pushbike for Christmas and he just happened to be at Castlemaine Rod Shop as I was speaking to him ( what a coincidence that was  ) and he said because I've been a good boy all year ( he must have me mixed up with some other good boy :? :? :? ) that he would bring me a pair of CRS lowered stub axles for Crissy :D :D :D .

Thanks to Slimboy66 for the heads up on the CRS drop axle special offer.

$547 including delivery :D .

Better than old price $713 not including delivery  .

Look after my Crissy present Santy

i bought some last week for $415 with vl turbo brakes on them.

the guy that just sold the pair on ebay for $570 said the new ones are made in china.

is this correct?

I guess that may be possible( made in China) and may be the reason for the price drop. Mine ( CRS ) look no different to the last ones I bought from them in the late '90's.If they were made in China they would still have to be made to ADR specs or CRS wouldn't be able to sell them and they also come with an engineering certificate as well......... something you don't normally get with general aftermarket parts.
