Just picked up a J series motor for my new rebuild and stripped it down ready for the machine shop - woohoo.
Few quick queries though relating to EK - EJ grey motor differences.
Can anyone confirm whether the front engine mounts are the same or will I have to swap my EK mount to the new block?
Does anyone know why differnet greys had different lenght push rods and lifters?
Do riginal Holden pistons have anything stamped on the top of them - the j series engines are clean with no stamping and a central countersink point (from being in a lathe?).
