This is just a couple different angles i snapped the day i picked it up. Not the most technical of pics but those will come. Can't wait to see some red rims and whitewalls on there..
You're not wrong Sammy, it looks like its setup for offroad. That'll be rectified asap. As far as other plans go, at the moment i'm just going concentrate on getting it on the road and looking good. Motor mods will come after that. It's gonna stay flat black, maybe some scroll pinstripe bits?
And below is what i'll be painting on a sheet of stained marine ply for the floor of the tray. A classic Vince Ray..
looks good mate. Love the wheels.
I'm after your front rims if you want to get rid of them. I need to swap 2 7" rims like yours for 2 6" ones, or buy some. You'll probably not be able to lower it with those rear rims cos they look like the ones I just brought. Too big an offset and stick out past the guards. Let me know if you sell them.
thanx Ryan,
good qualtiy pix.
she's propped up a bit aint she?
Body seems pretty straight - good pickup - no punn sugested..
I was going to fit dragways to mine - but have bailed..
Think I might be able to tell you why yours is so first floor..
I was going to post last night on the wheel problem and after tossing it around with Rosco.. he's been to Dragways and has borrowed a wheel..
He's putting a really big post with lots of pix together .. so I might just be saying a lot of stuff hes going to put up.. hope anyone thinking about this waits for the acid..
Frankston has a lot of people in the area with FB and EKs.
Think the Vic club has got something on soon down your way - check the site.
Trev should be able to tell you more..

Thanks again guys for the welcomes, tips and info. There is a bit of swarming happening down this end of town, good to some of you are so local. As far as some of your questions as to what i plan to do to the ute, i really don't know. I'm very much a novice and have never had a project car before so i'd appreciate any suggestions (which my need some lamemans terms and explanations). At this stage i just want the thing on the road, but once its running smooth i'll beef it up a little.
