is there any chance of still getting vinyl to match the original trim in fb/eks

Maybe.
You might get lucky and come across a trimmer that has some real old stock, or you might get a match with current suppliers UDA, Nolan Shannon or Daley's. These guys stock brand names and then have their own branded range.

The other alternative, if you are desparate and cashed up is to look Stateside, there is at least one company that I know of that claims to have the largest range of materials in the world and if they don't have it they can probably make it.

Then once you have the match, if there is any RF welding to be done it's a whole other ball game. You have find someone with the mega-dollar equipment and hope they have the right dies to do the job.

Try Supertrim in Coburg, don't have their details handy at the moment. Will post later tonight.
