SCATCH PLATE QUESTION.

Post by EK DAZ »

Hi there folks, I have just collected a set of FB/EK door scatch plates from different sources. Are these able to fit on any door on the car or do they fit in certain places? I have noted that one has " LF '' on one of the little tabs, but the rest are un- labled. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

I put a set on my wagon which had LF LR RF RR
on the tabs. So I put them in those positions accordingly.
Didn't obviously try them in other spots so can't completely
answer your question, however they did all look vefry similar!

To put them on you only need to loosen the handles from the
inside with a large phillips screwdriver and they should just slip
into the gap.

Hope that was some help to you :)

There's 2 kinds, one has a chrome centre & the other has a frosted centre, I would say the ones without LF LR RF RR on the tabs would be aftermarket & not original nasco, they are marked because of the slight differences in door contours between the front L/R & rear L/R doors.
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.
