Don't get rid of that one Ady.Sold my 1973 GTS Coupe ( 80837 code) in 1991 and have regretted it ever since    .

Good news is that I can still afford to have/buy FB's/EK's ( at the moment).

Don't make the same mistake I did and live to regret it .
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Very tough. Personally I reckon the hq monaro will gain in popularity in the future and may be as valuable as the HK monaro eventually.
Looks like youve changed the front, I'd change it back.

FB Mad no chance of that happening

It was a mates sister inlaws & she offered it to me but I didnt have the $ so my brother bought it , he didnt have the $ either but got the $ off mum & dad , the little bastard . In 1998 he had to sell it , he was going to sell it 10k , I told him if he put new tyres on it I would give him 7k & he would still have a brother

Dave I will be puting it back to HQ one day , I love the LS/Prem twin headlights

FB/EK's and HQ's are my favourites.Still have 4x HQ's here at home ( not coupe's unfortunately  ).

I reckon HQ coupe's $$$ are set to take off in near future now that the average bloke has no chance of getting a HK/G/T Monaro without selling his house to finance one.

I know a bloke with Factory '71 HQ GTS 350 T400 ( apparently low numbers 350/T400 were made) that has low miles in pretty good original nick that said Shannons reckon they could get $100 000 or near enough for it!!
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

I understand these prices (well sort of) for munros.

But SS Toranas?

There's going to be some pretty disappointed people when they take their $60,000 Hatchback for a drive and realise it's pretty much a cheap piece of crap.

I guess I'm just dirty because I sold my HK GTS for around 10% of price that the same car went for at auction early this year. CGT's a bitch though...

SS torana's..........

I was looking for around a year for one before I decided to throw in the towel on that and buy an EK.

For a genuine 5ltr SS your looking at around 60-100k.
For a genuine 6cyl SS your looking at around 20k.

Though ppl charge 20-30k for a factory 6 with a 253 or 308 in it. Which is stupid cause its not genuine then in my opinion.

I have a mate who bought an A9X 4 years ago for 30k. At the time it was top dollar. Now he has had offers for it for over 180k.......

Nice HQ by the way................very nice!!
