When I was a little fellow, my grandfather gave me a steel bodied pedal car.. it was a momentous occasion, which I still recall some 27 years later...

Luckily, we still have that little car, and my dad has always promised to do it up when the first grandchild arrived (and he did, just over a year ago... )

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday, and the pedal car was mentioned in my dad's speech... I was a bit bemused, 'cause I know for a fact the old car was still unrestored at that point, and was expecting to be handed the 'right to restore' or something like that. Dad has a peculiar sense of humour at times

Anyways, he walks out of the room, and returns with this....





See that?... Kodiak brown, with a white flash... and hand fabricated hubcaps... I was speechless

I'm not a big bloke, but this isn't a big car either... and no, I havent tried fitting in it we did manage to prop the boy up in it though

re the Hunter cruise - we have at least 4 starters up here. Two drinkers and two drivers.

paint it orange (i think) and RB might think someone shrunk his convertible.

i used to have a pedal car when i was little, it was red and had stars painted on very simular to FB stars, i rolled it going down a hill (lost a lot of skin that day)
years later my first registered road going car was an EK, guess what i rolled it going down a hill
