Anyone live in/near Mansfield Vic able to do an inspection?

Post by Oldnblue »

Hi all
I'm interested in a set of buckets seats that are located in Mansfield Victoria and am hoping that someone from the forum who lives or works in that area might be able to inspect them for me - just need to know if the frames/runners are in a decent condition as I'll be having them re-trimmed anyway.
I'd normally just take a chance but the cost of shipping to Brissie will be mighty expensive and not something I want to do if the seats don't warrant it.
If anyone is in a position to lend half an hour of their time it'd be much appreciated.
Drop me a msg if you're local and able to help.
Cheers, Scott

Hey
I am happy to go for a cruise up the highway probably an hour and a half to two hours from here but let me know if you dont get any other responses and hopefully i will try and get up there this weekend. Let me know what it is that you are looking for in particular in these seats and i will do my best.
I might even be able to get them shipped cheaper due to my ebay business.

I am only a newbie but willing to help.

Maybe the drive will do mymissus good and make our baby come on time "due 31st march"

Let me know if you need us

Cheers

Hi Richard
Wow, that's a hell of a nice offer...a loooong way out of your way. much appreciated, but as it turns out, I found a set of buckets up here in Brissie and bought them tonight, which of course means my search is over. Being local means I saved a lot of headaches and money when it comes to shipping.
Thanks again for the kind offer.
Cheers, Scott

Eeek...only just re-read this properly and realised that your baby is due anytime soon. Good luck with everything. It's a pretty amazing experience to go through.
