HOLIDAY TRIP WITH THE NATS

Hi All, We were wondering if anyone is interested in going on a holiday up to Queensland prior or after the Nats??Maybe for a week or so??Im open to sugestions on where to visit and stay. any one interested please pm me. Cheers Mark

my daughter is moving to QLD next week so maybe a holliday would be good have to see how finances go

Mark, Wintersun festival is on at the tweed/Coolangatta in the week before the Nats. It's all about cars and rock'n'roll. Runs for 10 days finishing on the queens birthday weekend. Might be worth a thought for a holiday on the goldie before the cruize back down to Yamba.

Accomadation can be pretty scarce on the southern end of the coast, But if you want to be up the north end near the theme parks for the kiddies, then there should be plenty. Check out their web site to do some planning.

Thats for wintersun Mini , Just googled Yamba and it shows that its near Rockhampton

too far for me on what could be a shakedown run

i was confused till i saw the bottom line aswell rosco
thought he may have going to wintersun the other way around, wollongong to VIC to SA to WA to NT to QLD then to yamba just that bit to far

minifcvan!!!! I am going to the nationals in Yamba however on the saturday I am considering leaving at 5am to cruise up to wintersun(about 2 and half hour drive) and leaving there at 2pm. Have done a million wintersuns the main car shows are saturday and sunday. Let me your tour guide if you want.

We will be staying in Coolangatta Mini so wintersun is 20 mins away , will be there from 31st- 8th or 9th then drop into the FB EK nats for a day on the way back south

Will do the theme parks but not sure of dates yet .
