I got to see this on Saturday close up , Man ! What a ride ! This thing is awesome and I hope he joins our little site 8)
Wish I'd heard it too .
Actually I noticed lots of cars at the nats had engine bling like never before ,Blowers are either getting cheaper or people are more focussed on the old school look of a mountain motor poking up skyward.. love it :)

I spotted what looked to be a bone stock HG Ute not worthy of a show ,But when I steered toward the bonnet it had a 671 huffer on top with a matching polished shotgun scoop - cool as !

Now Im not a &*#@ man at all but my pic of the show was the XY along side this wagon - I couldve eaten it.....

it was nice but there was some things that made it look not right, i don't really think the colour did anything for it and really think it needed the flash painted, when you could see it from a distance the back is about 4" lower than the front which looked silly, he wouldn't be able to lower the front more due to the wheel size and if he lifted the rear to suit the front it would have looked like a 4 wheel drive
i don't really want to knock it cause i don't have anything better, they are just a few things that i think would make it look better

Thats a nice lookin' wagoon!! But like alot like that it'll be more aftermarket chassis and such and heaps of $$$$$$$$. And like all these top streetmachines the owner gets all the glory and the blokes who do all the work never even get a mention. (RIGHT PAUL?)
Mind you, I would'nt say no if I was given it!!!

I have to agree with you John!

I think its the rake. Those big wheels give the impression the rear is low.
The sill is level but I think these cars need a little rake to the front, thats the way I like them anyway.

Just wondering, tubbed and blown not legal in NSW (another touchy subject).

Full credit to the builder although cause it is looks like a good job.

that's what i was saying earlier in the post it's nice but just doesn't look right, greg the sills are far from level it drops a good 3"-4" in the rear, even if they were level it would look silly cause then it would look like a 4 wheel drive, and it's a victorian car from sheparton so vic rego but still prolly dodgy
