Heres another idea for you blokes to think about...
F.B. Station Sedan, chopped 3" rear doors welded & top frame removed then replaced with sheet steel to wraparound rear corners.
Did this'un about 2002..I think?
Scotty.
you need to get a job with the general ,,,,and help them malakas to make somthing we want to drive that looks so cool as your pics ,,,,,,,and not all this aero dynamic junk that gives your eyes a soft on, ,,,,cause style is all us ugly people have to impress the chicks
when they start building them like that again i will buy a new car of them
..a mate of mine Robbie Bloor half built one about 1985/6 in Penrith NSW.
I moved from the area in '88 and it still was'nt on the road then...maybe someone on this site knows what happened to it, It was an EK painted in midnight blue metallic with a mural from a Motorhead album cover on the left hand side tailgate (I know that 'cos I did the mural) ..Skull with chains from memory. It was'nt chopped just closed off rear doors & paneled in.
mine wasn't chopped either but if you can draw, it's alot easier to draw a chop than do one
pics are coming
look in MY FB EK, under, my customs build photos RATBOX
someone give me a sedan or wagon body to chop up, i'm inspired and want to display again how quickly things can be done if you go and do them instead of just talking about it
sept his will have shonky FC tail lights as us people with commercials have to put up with
all the work he's doing to make an EK van look like an FC van with an EK front cut
That FB Nomad is a direct take off from my buisness cards, over ten years ago. Even down to the colour combination
I didnt have anything to do with the build, but I did fit a set of my door buttons before it was painted
That artwork was inspired by a Nomad project I started in the early 80's (unchopped).
Scotty! could you post a picture of my old buisness card mate.
