EK Panelvan- Lower tailgate interior release handle- Anyone?

Post by Mephious »

Finally managed to snap a picture of the stub in my lower tailgate.

I have had a look at Ratbox's and Steve Jacksons and they both have a different type. Could anyone shed some light as to what this is off ? It looks like its an original fitment based on the screw holes and colour behind the plate, but doesnt appear to be the norm.

No idea whats ment to go onto the end of it as it does have an inner thread within the hole.

Hey Mephious, That looks like someone was thinking when they repaired the broken one. I'd be putting a knob from an old alvey fishing reel on there with a bolt and be loving it. The lever on my van has been broken for ages and I just run a piece of copper pipe over the length and cover it with garden hose.

Thanks all for the help !!!

Will open it up and check it vs the original pic posted here. $150 for a replacement sounds a lil rough so I'll see what can be adapted to suit.

THanks again :)
