Well it seems very weird starting our trip this close to kickoff but here we are - left home at 9 this morning, off to work to do some printing of things and hit the road

Off down the hill and away we go
Stopped for a coffee and to check the cruise route hasn’t been dug up with roadworks etc , found the shirt from my first ever nationals we went to way back in 2002 - before the forum was going and all !!!! God I am old …..

It’s a bit tight around the middle - must have shrunk ImageImageImage

Yeah the model has been ridden hard and put away wet Image was feeling pretty shithouse with the horrid weather and all but when all the FB/EK family started rolling in it all seemed a lot better all of a sudden ImageImageImageImageImage

A bit of drizzly rain to start the day , Grosey followed us up to the kickoff point in his ute - makes 872 at the hubs on the bottle ImageImage

Starting lineup at the Crooked Carrot- I was too busy to take any photos of anything else but this

Goody bag area was busy - Geoff and Anne were tireless in their efforts to ensure the nationals went off as well as they could - then it was time to head off on the cruise
