Well it seems very weird starting our trip this close to kickoff but here we are - left home at 9 this morning, off to work to do some printing of things and hit the road
Off down the hill and away we go
Stopped for a coffee and to check the cruise route hasn’t been dug up with roadworks etc , found the shirt from my first ever nationals we went to way back in 2002 - before the forum was going and all !!!! God I am old …..
It’s a bit tight around the middle - must have shrunk

Looks like it has held up ok, not sure about the model?
Yeah the model has been ridden hard and put away wet was feeling pretty shithouse with the horrid weather and all but when all the FB/EK family started rolling in it all seemed a lot better all of a sudden
Nationals love all around

Day 2 - motel carpark is filling up
We did a run up to the sign on point this morning and surveyed the damage from yesterday’s storm
Shit everywhere……
Saw some trophy hunters while we were out and about

Goody bag area was busy - Geoff and Anne were tireless in their efforts to ensure the nationals went off as well as they could - then it was time to head off on the cruise
