Hey guys I have been building my ek for about 2 years in between many other house projects and family commitments but I got this with already having the Buick v6 conversion done but very rough and messy. So as I took it apart to clean it up I found many problems and rough cut holes in firewall and engine bay which I have finally finished patching and firewall bodywork. So I have bought a l67 supercharge v6 and have completely gutted the old install.

Would love to see some photos - we love a modded EK
Have you checked with an engineer that the huffer is OK? It is borderline in NCOP, and some engineers will not approve them. Some background here:

I wanted to do ls1 but that was too much so opted for the l67 I did talk to one and he didn’t have a problem but I will check all that.

Just spoke to Troy from fink engineering and he is fine with the motor and car setup. Needs a chassis strengthening kit which has already been done, collapsible steering column (done) , ventilated disc brakes on front (done) etc.

Good news
Now we need you to have a conversation with Mr Black about smaller supercharger driven pulleys

Reduce the pulley size until the head gasket blurts out, then back it off half a size.
Cheers,
Harv

Yeh I have seen that but they have been de- stroked. I think the l67 will be good fun especially going in a car 400kg lighter than what they are meant to be in.

I just don’t see how they pass it if the rule is tare mass x5 for naturally aspirated. I have talked to him and he said l67 will be ok didn’t ask about ls1 and that because I already have my donor car and my setup. I quite like the v6 supercharged

With the right money you can. It’s has a smaller pulley and a tune going to just throw it in have fun then pull it out later and spend some money on it. Just want the thing on the road
