got back last night QUEENSLAND SUCKS! it was overcast didn't rain till we were about 2 mins from the track saturday night but only spat couple of drops, got the mates car off the trailer took to staging lanes sat there for about an hour or so while a huge bunch of boring motor bikes had three passes each then some shopping cars (a landcruiser  2 VQ statesmans a late model fairlane and some other various late model shit boxes) had four passes each  finally the mates car pokes it's head around the corner and what do you know half a dozen drops of rain and they call the meeting off  , get up sunday morning weather looks bad head out to the track where it had been raining a fair bit tracked was soaked atleast they made an attempt to dry it but still was only about 2 hours before they called it, so in general it sucked and i think it will be along time before queensland ever sees any of our money again and willowbank race track can jam it up there bum

T'was a shame. We drove back from the Sunshine Coast early Sunday morning to get out there, but by the time we got into Brissie we knew they'd be calling it off, so didn't even bother heading to the track to find out.

The Willowbank Nationals are normally awesome so it's a bummer that a bad taste has been left in your mouth over this one.

i'de prolly return to watch only, but i doubt my mates would ever go again so if they don't go won't be any fun by myself
can't blame the nostalgia event it was the treatment on saturday night at the test'n'tune that killed it for us
