Anyone know what these two holes are for? From pictures I’ve seen on the inter web, there is nothing there, just two unused holes.

Maybe there was a function on the 567 Chevy pressing they prolly came from. GMH went back to the pin style latch per FC and EJ after the FB EK foray into Hollywood good looks.

i looked into this and according to the gmh holden archives
the hole on the right hand side of the fb / ek series holden was stamped to house a nasco water bottle only available from january 1960 through to feb 1962
the hole and stamping indentation on the left hand side was put in place to mount the
nar f#$ked if i know but how many of you started reading this and thought wow he knows his shit
