Cruise this Friday plus upcoming events

Post by Blacky »

We plan on doing a Friday night cruise next Friday night March 17 , leaving south Perth carpark opposite the entrance to the zoo in Labouchere Rd at about 6:30 for a run down to Freo to Captain Munchies and some boglaps of the cafe strip - get your bogan on !!!
Our next Sunday run is on April 2 to the Curtin FM Classic car spectacular - we have booked 10 spaces in advance. We need to be parked up by 9:30. The venue is Trinity College playing fields in Waterford.
We will do our usual trick and meet up at a McDonalds - there is one in Applecross , corner of Canning Hwy and Reynolds Road in Applecross, we will meet from 8:30 and leave just after 9 for the 10 minute drive to the show. We will take the club gazebos and eskies with cool drink along , please bring a chair , and we will have a meeting at the show as well.
This year the Shannons show has been moved from Whiteman Park to Ascot Racecourse , it is on April 23rd.
Because of the move , we have been asked to provide numbers of members attending this event. If you are interested in going to this show , please let me know by Monday so I can submit the form to allocate our area. Because of the venue change we will not be able to have our customary BBQ lunch , there are many food vendors at the venue so I dont think we will starve.
April is a busy month , theres lots on plus we are trying to organise a weekend down south before the weather turns seeing as the runs up north are so popular - so we will put a few ideas to the members at this meeting for future events.
hope to see lots of faces at both these runs, its been a while so get stuck in !!!!
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

The Curtin show is $5 a car to enter , includes entry for 2 people.
Not sure about the Shannons one , may be $10 per car ? All payable on the day anyhow.

Hey Paul, you never told us you were organising a club cruise up north to Singapore. Where do we meet for this one?
We'll be at the zoo on St Pats day.
