June club events

Post by Blacky »

Hi everyone ,

Winter is well and truly here , and the car related events are pretty much over for the moment.

We do have a couple of things planned for the winter months, the big one is the Nationals in Renmark on the weekend of June 11-12 and I am happy to say that our club will be represented with 3 cars for the first time this year , plus we will have a WA contingent of 10 people attending in total !!!

We have a few things to talk about , so we will have a meeting on June 4 at 4PM at my place in Kalamunda followed by a barby and movies in the shed - I have just installed a projector and a 150" screen 8) so bring a chair and something to drink, tea and coffee plus soft drinks are on the club but BYO alcohol. Open to suggestions on the movie - maybe we could give Running On Empty a run ???

Our next club event is going to be a beauty - we have been trying for over a year to snag a spot and thanks to Jamie and the Indian club we have one . Mark June 25 on your calendars, we have a shop tour at Galloway Engines in Pinjarra organised , these tours are very popular - should be a great day ! We need to be in Pinjarra by 10AM so we will meet up at Cockburn Gateway shops as per normal at 8:30 , will leave by 9 to be at Galloways just before 10. Afterwards we can head off to the Ravenswood Hotel for a feed and a bench racing session.

We need a minimum of 20 people for the tour , so please let me know if you plan to be there !

Cheers, Blacky.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Doc Bob rang me - he wants to bring the Just Cruising mob up from Waroona for the Galloway tour as well.

Hey Blacky;
What time do you think you will be coming past Karnup Road I will wait there instead of coming up to Gateway
