Original ones are hard to get. There was some repo ones getting around. I have no idea who sells them. It's not rare spares.

Sammy was making them, but did not get very far... GMH was not too happy with the idea. About the same time another seller was flogging similar repro boot badges through eBay. His product disappeared too, as did a lot of the guys selling copies of NASCO instruction sheets.

Methinks the GMH lawyers may have had a bit of a clean-up of the market.

Well that's great for who....... Only winners are the lawyers and maybe GMH but for anyone trying to get these parts good luck. If rates aren't doing them what's the issue, unless GMH plN to make more..

From what understand of it (and I could be wrong), GMH sold the intellectual property to Rare Spares. Rares are this able to reproduce early Holden stuff and sell as genuine replacement parts, including items that are readily recognisable as GMH product (for example stuff with HOLDEN scripted into it, or SANDMAN). It is these things that the lawyers have latched onto... they don't seem to go for the less identifiable stuff (for example blokes selling new screws for Stromberg carbs, repro scuffplates or repro bumper rubbers). I guess Rares is trying to protect their investment. I've seen some reasonable behaviour from Rares (eg asking repro people to sell to Rares, who then onsell, allowing me to scan and publish the FX/FJ Service Bulletins), and also some outright refusals (eg I have not been allowed to scan and publish the FB/EK Holden manual here).

Happy to do one of those if that helps. I have no idea what it will cost to chrome.

Anything with Holden lion is a no no Memory serves me correctly it was olden1 at cockatoo Vic was told in no uncertain terms to surrender all repro items and cease making them, right around the time rares and Holden were doing their deal. Also Rares only recently took ownership of NASCO copyright.
cheers

This guy was selling them as a repo and they were pretty close.
I brought one but didn't need it and sold it to Rustydungers.
Rusty thought it was pretty good also, ya all know how picky Russell is.
You might ask if he still has any but your pockets better be deep!
Regardless one of the rarest items ya can be looking for.
